2010: Hit .222 with 10 runs, three doubles, one homer, 14 RBIs, and four steals in 37 games (22 starts, including 16 at third base, five at shortstop, and one at second base)...hit .370 with five RBIs and three steals in 11 ACC regular-season games...hit .298 with runners on base and .286 with runners in scoring position...in his five starts at shortstop, he was 8-for-20 (.400) with a homer, five RBIs, three runs, and a steal along with only one error in 22 chances (.955 fielding percentage)...Clemson was 4-1 in his five starts at shortstop...was 7-for-12 (.583) with two doubles and five runs in the second inning...was 9-for-26 (.346) in his 10 games against top-25 ranked teams...suffered a back injury in late March and missed 13 games...went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs, and one steal against Furman on Feb. 21...went 2-for-3 with a double and the game-tying, run-scoring single in the seventh inning against #15 South Carolina on Mar. 5...came off the bench and went 1-for-2 at Wake Forest on May 15...went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBIs, and two runs against Presbyterian College on May 18; it was his first career start at shortstop...went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against #7 Florida State on May 20...went 2-for-4 with a run against #7 Florida State on May 21...went 2-for-4 with an RBI against #7 Florida State on May 22; he was 6-for-12 with three RBIs and a steal in the series...went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs, and two runs against Western Carolina on Apr. 6.

2009: All-ACC Academic team member...hit .315 with 29 runs, seven doubles, one homer, 21 RBIs, and seven steals in 55 games (42 starts, all at third base)...had a team-high six sacrifice bunts...had a .960 fielding percentage thanks to committing just four errors in 101 chances...hit .396 in May...hit a team-high .371 with the bases empty...hit a team-high .412 as the leadoff batter of an inning...was 31-for-73 (.425) from the fifth through eighth innings...had a 10-game hitting streak in May; he was 17-for-32 (.531) with three doubles, 10 RBIs, 10 runs, five walks, a .605 on-base percentage, and five steals during the streak...came off the bench and went 1-for-1 with two runs and one hit-by-pitch against Michigan State on Mar. 10...went 2-for-3 with a run, RBI, walk, and steal at #24 Florida State on Mar. 22...hit his first career homer against Duke on Apr. 3...went 2-for-5 with two RBIs against Duke on Apr. 5...went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs, and a hit-by-pitch against Western Carolina on Apr. 15...went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI in the first game of a doubleheader against Maryland on May 3...went 2-for-5 with an RBI and steal in the second game of a doubleheader against Maryland on May 3; he went 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles and three RBIs in the series...went 2-for-2 with an RBI, two runs, a walk, and steal against North Carolina-Wilmington on May 8...went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two runs, and two walks against North Carolina-Wilmington on May 9; he was 3-for-4 (.750) with two RBIs, four runs, three walks, and a steal in the series...went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two walks, and a steal against Furman at Greenville, SC (Fluor Field) on May 11...went 3-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, RBI, two runs, and two steals at N.C. State on May 15; he was 5-for-10 with three runs and two steals in the series...played for Falmouth in the Cape Cod League in the summer, where he hit .158 in five games.

Before Clemson: Drafted in the 31st round (#940 overall pick) by the Atlanta Braves in 2008...Marietta Daily Journal Player-of-the-Year as a senior...All-Cobb County and team MVP as a senior...Cobb County Dugout Club High School All-Star team member as a senior...#12 prospect in Georgia by Perfect Game...Connie Mack World Series All-Tournament selection in 2008...played on the state runnerup team as a sophomore...earned his high school's academic award...from the same high school that produced former Tiger Ben Paulsen (2007-09)...lettered three times in baseball at Kell High School, where he was coached by Donnie English.
