Catcher who was the third-string catcher most of the 2010 season as a freshman, but he became the everyday starter behind the plate in the 2010 NCAA Tournament...penciled in as the starter behind the plate in 2012...has good leadership skills...a career .278 hitter in 83 games (64 starts) over two seasons...has 15 doubles, one homer, 41 RBIs, 32 runs, and 28 walks and four hit-by-pitches against only 20 strikeouts...has committed only three errors and has a .994 fielding percentage...has thrown out 17 of 52 potential basestealers in his career...#84 prospect in the nation for the 2012 draft in the preseason by Baseball America.

2010: Hit .263 (15-for-57) with 10 runs, five doubles, 10 RBIs, and six walks in 30 games (13 starts, all at catcher)...12 of his 13 starts came in the postseason and 11 came in the NCAA Tournament...Clemson was 9-4 in his 13 starts...came off the bench and hit two doubles in the sixth inning against Georgia Southern on Mar. 17; he also had two RBIs...came off the bench and hit a single and scored a run against Boston College on Apr. 2...hit a pinch-hit single and scored a run at Maryland on May 7...made his first career start against Furman at Greenville, SC (Fluor Field) on May 11...in his second career start, he went 3-for-4 with two runs against #6 Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament on May 29...went 1-for-3 with a run-scoring double and two sacrifice bunts at #14 Auburn in the Auburn Regional on June 6...went 2-for-5 with a run at #14 Auburn in the Auburn Regional on June 7...went 1-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, a run, and walk against #16 Alabama in the Clemson Super Regional on June 13...hit a run-scoring single against #1 Arizona State in the College World Series on June 21...went 1-for-3 with a two-run single and a walk against #6 Oklahoma in the College World Series on June 22.

Personal: Pronounced KEE-boom...has dual-citizenship with the United States and The Netherlands...his father, Alswinn, was born in The Netherlands, moved to the United States at the age of 17, and played baseball at Eastern Illinois...his brother, Trevor, is a freshman righthander and infielder on the Clemson baseball team...two-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll...majoring in marketing...born Spencer John Kieboom on Mar. 16, 1991 in Mount Pleasant, SC.
