To me it's great for us no matter the outcome of their game. Either they lose the game which turns their 2-8 season into a 2-9 season. Or they win the game, and they'll forever be the answer to an embarrassing trivia question.

I wouldn't mind seeing UVa embarrass them yet again.
I doubt the players foregoing another year of college ball for the NFL will be too keen on this idea either.

Of course there is a lot of hate towards your in-state rival, but remember they players are just college students the same at at Clemson. It has been #### for everyone and the bowl game is a reward. Their coach got fired and all of us are experiencing some kind of pain from this covid epidemic. It is the holiday season; lets all try to have some empathy for our fellow man.

There are several bowls being canceled.
Not sure how they are being considered.
This is a great time for them to ‘reboot’.
Pretty sure the ‘bowl practice time’ thing is not really helpful this year....everyone is still playing and practicing.
It makes no sense for them to play in a bowl.

There’s a difference between having sympathy and giving everyone a participation trophy. They actually need to do away with at least 50% of the bowl games.

Why would Liberty be left out of a BG? If I were sponsoring a BG and a 9-1 team was unable to go and a 2-8 team was sent, I would withdraw my sponsorship. That’s BS for a 2-8 team to a BG under any circumstances.

discussing this on Lamecock Central (107.5) yesterday like it is a done deal. There must be a bowl out there somewhere that has a REALLY low self esteem. TV money must be great, because they ain't going to make anything off a live gate.

I hate auburn worse than anything but on a player level, I’m ok with their players going to some candy ### bowl. Any other year many of the bowl are bs but this year I think the players and the fans need them. ‘Course the covid police wont let anyone attend in person but it’s the thought that counts.
