The good thing in the case of this kid is that he has no pre-conceived notions of what a top program is, considering he got here from Nigeria in August. He seems to be putting a premium on location and academics. We might be competing.... here.

I'm not surprised anymore at what USC fans slip up and admit. The coots that I've talked to and whose posts I've seen on FGF all seem resigned to the fact that they're not a very good football team and can't compete with Clemson as far as the entire range of recruiting is concerned. The rank-and-file Gamecock supporter has seen the "handwriting on the wall" and will often actually tell the truth about the chasm between the two programs. Certainly, there is a large percentage of their fans, still drinking the Kool-Aid, who make incredibly wild and unrealistic comments about the supposed strength of their program. They're a sad lot of individuals!!!
