As a Falcon fan...

It seems like yesterday that having both the Tigs and Falcs as champs was within grasp (We all know what happened - someone decided that running the ball a couple times at letting perhaps - at that time - the most clutch kicker in the league win the game was not the right decision). Would never have imagined the dumpster fire would be in full blaze in Flowery Branch just a couple years later. I am thankful A Blank did the right thing (although maybe a year too late) and dispatched BOTH Mr. Handclapper and Mr. Spiked Hair. Hopefully we can find some stability and success, although, due to the big contacts on the books it's probably re-build from scratch time. Arthur Blank is a class act, and he deserves better, as does the City of Atlanta, where I resided and held season tix for 13 years through some lean times...

since that Super Bowl debacle. We need a whole new approach to both offense and defense with a GM who knows how to select players. I'm glad AB pulled the trigger last night because that will give the Falcons the rest of the season to be targeting a new HC and a new GM instead of having to scramble after the regular season's over.

I got tired of hearing how much the players liked Quinn. A HC is supposed to be the HC and instill discipline and focus, not be the players' buddy. It's pretty obvious they didn't play hard for him.

It was long overdue. Especially dimitroff. Hope the falcons give some unknown a shot and he becomes the next Dabo.

Matt Ryan got to go too. I’ve defended him for years, but he’s not the same anymore and that pick yesterday was proof that he’s done.

now it's time for the new blood at QB - would love to see TL in the job but don't know how realistic it will be for the Falcons to be able to get him.
