Can anyone remember our offense....

getting a key first down to seal a victory in one of the many marquee matchups we've had the last several years? It seems it is always on the defense at the end. I recall this being the case in almost every tight game we have had recently. Venables is up to the task 90% of the time but it seems a little too much to ask one side of the ball. Our offense can mix things up with play calling and make them less risky plays at the same time.

I have to believe our coaches will make some adjustments here in the future. Could be the bright side of this loss. Go Tigers!

We barely rushed for 30 yards. With ND having 2 timeouts, im taking my chances on DJ throwing the ball to get the first down to ice the game.

I wonder if ND had anything to do with that . Sometimes even mighty Clemson , on a given night meets it superior.
I've been a Tiger since 1948 and it hurts to admit it but we're not always the best .

You certainly have to give credit to ND. They balled out. If we are healthy and make the ACCCG against them, I am very confident we are the better team. Our OLine will improve by then too.
