how to pronounce "Clemson."

He still pronounces it "Clemzun" even after calling several games of ours - should know better.

the difference is where you split the syllables.

Try it.

Clems-on - ends up naturally making the z sound

Clem-son - ends up naturally making the p sound

We need to help all these folks out with a pronunciation guide or something. 10 minutes of coaching before they are allowed to call a game.

I graduated in '87. Always heard that was really the correct way to say it. Brent Musberger (sp?) says it that way (or has in the past). I don't say it that way, but for some reason the announcers like it.

Even though we went to school here, or are currently in school here or live here, we are wrong. We don't know how to say Clemson properly. Has it ever occurred to all the numb nut Clemzen people that we are wrong and the esucsecpn idiots have it right. How bad is it that we misspell the schools name in the endzone, on our class rings or even on Tillman Hall. It should be Clemzen College.
