Heisman voting deadline...

I’ve seen some remarks implying the semifinal games will impact the Heisman race...

The votes are already in... they had to be in by 12/21....

Granted - this makes no sense ...but that’s how they do things ....I really don’t understand why Heisman voting can’t extend into the post season...but it doesn’t ...

for any given year gets voted on before that year is complete. Seems to me you would want to look at the entire year's body of work prior to voting. If that were the case, I firmly believe there would be one sitting on the mantle at Deshaun Watson's house, and Levar Jackson would just have candlesticks on his.

Historically it’s a regular season award but in the modern day of football with conference championships and the playoffs and the fact that those are the biggest games of the year the way they do it should be changed and eventually it will be. The ballot shouldn’t even go out until after the playoffs.
