How much playing time does DJ get next year?

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say he plays in most games. Who knows maybe we see both Trevor and Dj on the field at the same time wouldn’t that be impressive wrinkle to add to the offense? But a five star QB most likely won’t be a bench warmer. Don’t get me wrong Lawrence is the starter and will be till he goes to the NFL but Dj will and should play. Just wondering how much?

I think he may enter the game a drive or two before the other backups and get a little run with the first team.

I could see. Brice transfer this year and then maybe Taisun the following year if he doesn't beat out DJ. Taisun is a stud too though. No telling what happens. There is no telling with any of it.

Why wouldn't you redshirt the guy. Give him enough snaps in four games to help his progression for 2021.

Let him play in 4 games (assuming the NCAA doesn't muck that rule up). Then you can red shirt him. He may still leave for the NFL after his junior year, but you have that red shirt to use in case he gets injured or something.

Assuming Chase Brice transfers, it depends on how well DJ ramps up in the spring and summer and how many blowouts next year.

4 games minimum for sure. If they decide to toss the redshirt option, more than that.
