calling off the dogs so early. Here we are 38-17 and Pitt showing life and not giving up. 52-3 first half, Pitt quits and then you call dogs off and play backups.

I get the thought but the other team is still competing until you make them quit. 1st quarter, no matter the score, teams don’t quit that soon ?????

No mercy until the surrender, this is not difficult concept in my opinion. 1st quarter is just 1/4 of the game. Let the big dogs eat and stop the niceness BS. Now you are acting upset at a player that you put them in, come on coach you are better than that.
