Because of transfers, Covid opt outs, etc. they presently only have 70 players on scholarship. They can sign full classes the next two years, so the proposed scholarship reductions mean nothing.

Impose penalties when you know the team will not be worth a crap for the next few years. Wonder why they didn't do this last year?

Definitely weak to say the least. At this point though, I have somewhere little or no faith in the NCAA committee/whatever.
