What would they have done in football? No B1G, SEC or other conferences playing out of conference games who would they have played. Navy and maybe some AAC or lower tier conference games. Would have been interesting had it not been for ole lard butt bailing them out.

Only way it's acceptable in my book is if was hard and fast that they join all in for 10 years and whatever payment goes with it and been forced to give up their NBC money.
Would much preferred cincy or Memphis.

Last time I looked, there were 14 other ACC schools and they all have votes on conference matters. By the way, what did Swofford ever do to Clemson?

If you do not know what he and his allies were alleged to have done to Clemson football program in the early 80s, you should not be on this board or any other Clemson site.

It is alleged, but never actually happened. It is an urban myth. I think David Hood wrote an article about it on this site a few years ago. If you are gonna dislike the guy, dislike him for something he has actually done.
