Let'em in the CFP if they go undef and play at least 8-9 gms

Sep 16, 2020, 4:27 PM

they will be playing with no open dates, no Div II teams and not much time off from the last game to the CFP. It will be a tough go of it with no breaks. Not to mention, anything can happen anyway with the COVID protocols with any team. I love the fact that they are back in it, ready for another beat down from Dabo. Nothing makes me happier than beating OSU and ND on the way to another Natty. At least we wont have to listen to the Asterisk conversations that they would push afterwards.

I thought I heard on ESecPN this morning that the Little 10 could get in the playoffs with a 7 game schedule. Anybody else hear that? If so, that's a pretty unfair advantage, if we play 10 or more.

They’ll find a way to let them in. They could play 5 games and get in. I’m more interested in how the players who opted out will be allowed back in.

To be honest, I think it's too early to tell. Even with a 10-12 schedule, who knows how many games any team may, or may not play due to wuhan. Like Dabo tells us, all we have to worry about is Clemson. As long as the committee is transparent, and doesn't use the espn "eye test" we will be fine.
