Opinion tnetters

Feb 4, 2020, 11:32 AM

Will Chase Brice have a bigger impact on Duke football than Bryant had on Missouri football? I think that he will especially if the Blue Devils have good receivers the next two years.

Two years vs one year automatically means a different type of investment and much more room for a larger impact.

I think there are other factors as well that are currently unknown, but that is a huge difference in my opinion.

Will he have an immediate impact this coming season? Remember, Coach Cutcliffe has a great reputation of working with QBs

Based on what Chase stated he was looking for in a program, I expect that he will be a two year starter if he remains healthy.

Health will also be a huge factor to determine his impact.

Bryant spent much of this past season injured and on the sidelines.

I think without a doubt***

They'll win their first three. After that? I think he'll be okay, but we are talking Dook football. Yes, I think he'll have a bigger impact than KB, only because KB was mediocre on a mediocre Mizzou team.

Cutcliffe will adjust gameplans to make his QB as successful as possible, whether it's Chase or someone else. Chase made a wise choice, now he has to go win the job.

Chase Brice going to Duke almost automatically makes Duke the favorite to win the Coastal for the next 2 years. I don't see a team in the Coastal that can beat them. Duke will be 12-0 when they play CLEMSON in the 2020 ACCCG. You heard it here first.

Just kidding about 12-0, but if they beat UNCheat at home, then they will play in the ACCCG. They might lose to ND at ND, so 11-1 maybe. :)

I think so, if for no other reason than he has two years

of eligibility, vs Bryant being "one and done". And, he will receive proven better coaching from Coach Cutcliffe at Duke vs what Bryant got at Mizzou.

Chase will have a bigger impact.

Answer: Yes.

Reason: Chase can consistently throw an accurate forward pass.

I think so for sure. Hopefully he has an Oline that is solid. Looks like they will have the WR's.

Kelly isn’t half the QB chase is

I think Duke is a much more promising destination for Chase. I never really understood what Kelly thought he was going to get at Missouri.
