Receivers need to take notes

No push off or touching. Just pure skill vs one of the best corners in the game.

I was thinking the same thing. Looked just like that play against FSU in 2011 except SW got a TD on the play. Check the 2:07 mark

This is why I felt compelled to post Sammy destroying him.

He's been allowed to mug wr's his entire career, any other db gets flagged for his clinch style of coverage-

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He was correct. He was the best corner in the game

To be fair, he was the best corner in the game at the time of that statement. He's almost 32 years old now, and hasn't been the same since the torn achilles injury. He's still been pretty good mind you, but not nearly the same.

I actually don’t mind the guy. He’s pretty intelligent and I think he has a degree in communications from Stanford. There are times though when things are better left unsaid. I always get a little pleasure when someone’s arrogance comes back around to bite them. Often times athletes and people in general do not realize that all of the physical attributes we have when we are young have a sell by date. The day came when Sherman was no longer the best just like the day has come or will come for every other athlete who claims to be the best. How they handle that timeframe where they are the best says a lot about their character.

sports, professional sports in particular. Big, fat, loud mouths on fragile, insecure athletes who have never been taught respect or class, and confuse childish jaw flapping with real confidence. They somehow feel this kind of behavior is good and/or acceptable.
