Not sure how they do that...the target is how many times they throw to a receiver. My assumption is that it does not mean it is catchable. It could be that he had zero drops, but they overthrew or underthrew to him. I will try to find out.


OK, what I said above was pretty much the case. IF it is thrown to a receiver, whether catch-able or not, it goes as a target.

So, I looked at Watson's stats for yesterday...he had 37 pass attempts, and there were 37 targets for the game. We know that he did not throw catch-able passes for all his 9 passes that weren't caught... But it did say in the other material I read that spikes and throw away passes are not counted as targets.

I didn't watch the whole game but for the portion I watched, Kyler Murray was struggling to throw the ball to his WRs when there was anyone covering them.

He went 9 of 24 on the night.

I did not see Nuk drop a pass.

He might not have had any drops. The balls could have been uncatchable.
