all-time number of wins Vs. Tigers?

Bonus if you can name the first year they won (probably more people will remember that).

Their first win was in 1990 (Hatfield's first year). Don't

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

If I am not mistaken it is 8. Haven't checked to see if that is correct. But I do believe it is.

Correct! Good job!

The Wahoos are 8-39-1 all-time vs. Clemson.

All of their wins have been between 1990 and 2004, when they were 8-6-1 against the Tigers (.533). Every win was courtesy of either George Welsh or Al Groh. Welsh was 5-13-1 (.263) agains Clemson. Groh was a much more respectable 3-3 (.500).

Since 2004, the Tigers are 4-0, including a 59-10 win in Charlottesville in 2013 that is NOT the largest margin of victory-that would be the 1984 game in which Ford's Tigers shut the Cavs out 55-0.

1st loss was in 1990 at Scott Stadium. I was sitting in the stadium right in front of a former Virginia running back Frank Quayle and beside my friend who was a former Virginia lineman. It was not a fun game. On the way home I was sitting on the plane next to Barbara Dooley who was at the game watching her son Derek play ...... pretty decent receiver.

I was there as well.

Just when you thought folks couldn't get any angrier after Ford got fired, Hatfield seemed to not do himself any favors that day.

Several years later in Charlottesville it snowed during the game. Tigers won that day

First loss could have easily been 1966 but the "Needle" brought the Tigers back in the 4th quarter for the 40-35 win. Saw it.
