In honor of Chase Brice here’s a question for you guys!

What are the most famous catches in Clemson history?

Obviously these are on the list…

Jerry Butler versus the coots!

Boyd to Hopkins (4th & 16)

Chase Brice versus Syracuse!

I forget what year, maybe 89? Clemson versus UVA in Charlottesville and it was looking like we were going to have our first loss to UVA With us behind late in the fourth quarter. Coming out of a time out which I think was our last time out UVA left One of our WRs uncovered split out wide and he and Rodney Williams made eye contact and Rodney tossed a little soft one out there And he ran it in from about 40 yards for a touchdown to win the game! I know who the WR was but I just cannot remember it at the moment. Anybody remember who caught that pass?

There were several huge catches in the Alabama championship game and Watson should have won back to back Heisman‘s had the voting been
, but Watson to Renfro for the win will certainly go down in Clemson lore!!

What are a few other classic catches in Clemson history?

Indeed!

Silly coots are still crying and bitching and moaning about that one! Still calling it a push off and begging for a flag!

Thumbs up for you my man!

Jordan Leggett vs Bama on the final drive in

2016. The Renfrow play was great, but it was set up with two amazing catches by Williams and Leggett.

Agree 100%! Like I said, there were numerous great catches in that game, and a couple of great catches on that drive to get us in position for that famous last play!

Thumbs up!

Yes it was!

Thank you!

It was on the tip of my tongue and I knew it was a white guy and good friend of Rodney's, but didn't want to write that and get called names by the usual liberal suspects.

Thumbs up!
