House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) accused a San Francisco hair salon of setting her up just two days after getting a wash and blow-out.
I wonder how well it would have gone over if a former President would have used that defense when a certain blue dress had his DNA on it.

Business owner says the stylist, who is not currently paying for her chair since they have been shuttered for months, called her to ask if she could unlock for one customer who had requested to come in.
Perhaps Pelosi and her staffers don't understand the word "offered". If I call a closed business and ask for them to open just for me, and they agree, that's not them "offering" to open.
I read one place that the owner has grounds to sue Pelosi for slander. Pelosi has lied over little details like this for years, but since her lies are about political opponents they don't have legal recourse. This business owner is not a public figure, so this is not protected political speech.

Why use a far right "news" organization for the story?
She screwed up & will suffer the consequences, whatever they may be. But at least use a reputable news agency for the story. There's plenty of them that have reported the story, so no need to go to Breitbart for it. (Same goes for leftists wanting to use Mother Jones for "news" articles).
