Why is everyone so fired up about seeing Spurrier on his way

Oct 12, 2015, 3:54 AM

out this year? I, for one, want to slap his a$$ around for at least 3 more years. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not so fired up about it.
Rather,it's how much longer do you want to beat a dead horse to death.
Let's get the coots some new young blood, beat up on him for say 4 years
then run him off and restart the cycle.
More fun that way!

Who is everyone? Certainly no Clemson fan wants to see him

go. Even one more year would be awesome.

Agreed...I think we need to beat him something like 3 more times (including this year) for him to go out with a losing record to us. No way he sticks around long enough for Dabo to get up on him though.

I think a loss this year makes him .500 against Clemson, counting his years at Duke.

I agree! Be quiet, don't say a word. I hope he stays there forever!

I'd rather see him on the sidelines than see him in an ESPN desk.

Goodness I hadn't thought about that
possibility. Can you imagine how vile, mouthy, and arrogant he'd be in that role?

Hope he keeps tending the poultry.

Probably because the writing is on the wall

In about a 60 days there won’t be an opportunity to dog him b/c he’ll be retired and Skip Holtz will be the next coach to dog.

A Coot co-worker told me this morning....

Oct 12, 2015, 9:00 AM

that Spurrier has informed Tanner that this will be his last year and that $CU is already having preliminary discussions with the top candidates to replace Spurrier including Chip Kelly and Gary Patterson.

What's more, Spurrier will announce his retirement to the team and the fans the week of the Clemson game which be all the added motivation the team needs to beat Clemson and send Spurrier out on a winning note.

What color is the sky in their world !?!?!?!

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
