Why would ND join ACC?

Why would they wanna join ACC and have to beat Clemson to get to playoffs? They can win 12 games and alwayd make it to playoffs. Doesn't make sense to me.

Are you guys saying because they got exposed today, CFP wont put them in playoffs if they go 12-0?
