Get rid of Cocky and get Colonel Sanders as the school mascot. They could sign a lucrative deal with KFC. What are they thinking?

See - what it is. KFC don't want to be associated with the U of soukarlina. On account of; "knowing the names and memes Clemson fans will have after the Tigers WR's burn their secondary"!

Stuff like, "fried chicken a-plenty"! Or, "Clemson waffles D-chicken"!

I was doing some historical research and found this on one of their school's websites. I had always wondered how they got their terrible mascot name and always thought it came from Gen Thomas Sumter.

1902: Physics/Engineering professor Benjamin Sloan becomes President of South Carolina College; Prof. J. Horton Colcock (college dean, 1908-1912) becomes responsible for SC College's (now USC) mascot being called the "Game #####."

Cold ##### would have been a better name.

Bahahahaha! Bahahaha! Dang man! They would be the "fighting col co**#"! Of course, they would have to change their name.

Southern Cal would have a real problem with being associated with something so "small and insignificant"( think about it)!

normally much less, I would fix it with a 3-piece dinner. Ever since they got rid of their baked beans as one of their sides though (I would substitute those for potatoes and gravy - I know, blasphemy), I've been cured of the quest. Like a light switch.
