Ryan Linthicum’s recruitment is just beginning to heat up but a return trip to Clemson is already in the works.

The 2021 Damascus (MD) center/guard traveled with teammate and 5-star defensive lineman Bryan Bresee to Clemson’s annual Orange & White game last weekend and left with a really good first impression.

Not only did Clemson’s facilities impress but his time with the coaches stood out the most.

“The visit was crazy. What stood out to me was how awesome the coaches are there,” Linthicum told TigerNet earlier this week. “And, the facilities are top notch. It's somewhere where you feel like home. Bryan showed me around and we talked with coaches. It was just a great time and it's somewhere where I feel at home.”

Linthicum made sure to spend time with head coach Dabo Swinney and defensive tackles coach Todd Bates.

“It was an amazing experience,” Linthicum said. “How it felt like home and it's just a wonderful place. Dabo is someone I could see myself playing for. I talked to all the coaches but coach Bates the most and his message was to just keep working no matter what.”

The 6-4, 278-pound prospect is already planning his next trip to Clemson in hopes of earning an offer from the national champs.

“I'm going to come back down in the summer and we will see,” he said. “This visit was just to see everything, soak it all in and enjoy my time. I’m not worried about anything else.”

Linthicum currently holds offers from East Carolina, LSU, Liberty, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and Virginia but he said Clemson will always be under consideration.
