State.

Plyler on Dye: "When I saw him as sophomore at Greenwood High I thought he was 6-3 1/2 and then because he moved to Byrnes I did not see till end of senior year. In person now he looks 6-6. I think they measure him at 6-5 or 6-5 ½. He catches the ball really, really well. I believe because he enrolled in spring he is a really good candidate to avoid a redshirt. He doesn't run as well as former Clemson wide receiver Kevin Youngblood, but he does catch it better."

Reminds Plyler of: Kevin Youngblood

Dye on Clemson: "When I was waiting to be ruled eligible, Clemson told me not to worry about anything, and that really meant a lot to me. I love the atmosphere at Clemson."

Plyler on Korn: "Simply stated he is the best high school quarterback I have ever seen. You name it, he can do it. Perhaps the most important thing he processes is toughness. I saw him get the stew knocked out of him time after time behind a bad offensive line this year. He just keep getting up. Korn is just a natural leader. He is a bright kid and ultra competitive. He is the most accurate player I have ever seen in the pocket and on the run. He has great feet. I fully expect him to be the starting quarterback at Clemson."

Byron Clear DE 6-6 / 220 Hoover, AL (Hoover High School)

Ranked the #33 weakside defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com...listed as the #83 defensive end by Scout.com...named All-Region by PrepStar as a senior...part of a military family that moved around a lot during high school; started at Slidell in Louisiana, moved to Jamestown, Virginia then settled at Hoover High School for his senior season...helped Hoover High to the state championship game in 2006...twin brother Brandon is a wide receiver and fellow Clemson signee...wore number 9 for Hoover High...played just two years of high school football...three star prospect recruited by wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney...chose Clemson over Illinois, N.C. State, Northwestern, Stanford, Syracuse and UCLA.

Plyler on Clear: "A lot like the wide receiver position, defensive end is a big area of need for the Tigers. Byron is probably more highly thought of than his brother, Brandon, who also signed with the Tigers. When you beat UCLA on a prospect you have done something. He comes from a high level competition, good coaching, and a good family. He has good growth potential with a big frame that can add a lot of weight."

Plyler on Clear: "Anytime you beat Georgia, Tennessee and Maryland you think you have a good player. It was his commitment that helped turned things around on January 19th weekend. I think he is a defensive end but I wouldn?t be surprised to see him grow into an interior defensive lineman."

Plyler on Gilchrist: "Gilchrist is another big highlight in this class at what turned out to be a huge area of need because of C.J. Gaddis leaving for the NFL and Byron Maxwell's injury. I think he is going to have the kind of impact that Crezdon Butler had as a true freshman. He has everything you are looking for at corner and is also a terrific kick returner."

Plyler on Brown: "Here is a Gaines Adams clone. He ran a 4.5 at the rivals combine and measure at 6-5 230. He had over 30 sacks his senior season and coaches say he is a terror on the basketball court. I think he will develop into a tremendous pass rusher. The thing you can say about him most is his character. He comes from a great family and he is a very humble kid. It's nice when you lose a Gaines Adams and replace with another Gaines Adams."
