4-star DE 'very high' on Clemson after offer

by -

2020 4-star defensive end Darrion Henry (Cincinnati, Ohio) has Clemson in his top schools after an offer after attending Clemson camp this month.

Recently he impressed at Ohio State camp and told 247Sports he's grown up a Buckeyes fan, but his Clemson visit also left an impression.

"One of the other schools I'm very high on would be Clemson..." Henry told 247Sports. "They have great facilities and after having talked to Coach (Dabo) Swinney, I can tell he's a great guy. We talked a little bit, and we are building a relationship."

"They want me to come back for a game, and I most definitely want to go back to Clemson."

Henry, who also counts Notre Dame, Michigan and Michigan State among his early contenders, is rated the No. 67 overall player by Rivals as the No. 4 strongside defensive end.

He posted 37 tackles with two interceptions as a sophomore at Princeton (OH). Henry has also taken visits to Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati and Tennessee this spring.
