Fourteen South Carolina high school football players, including four from the area, have been nominated to play in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The annual East vs. West game will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The 14 in-state players are among 440 finalists chosen by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee. Of the finalists, 90 are invited to the bowl. The bowl’s selection tour will begin in September.
