According to Jamie Newberg of ESPN:
"NC State, Clemson, Duke and Michigan have offered," said Kalamabyi, who carries a 4.2 grade point average. "I think teams like Stanford and Notre Dame are close to offering me. Right now I am pretty open and I have a ways to go." He registered 150 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and an interception in leading Butler to a 16-0 record and its second consecutive 4-AA state championship in 2010. He attended the 2011 Orange and White Game in Death Valley.
"Another headliner(at Durham NFTC) was Class of 2013 'backer Peter Kalamabyi (Matthews, N.C./Butler), who is 6-3, 230 pounds and already has some impressive offers."
