From Birmingham News:
"When he got back from Clemson he said, 'Coach, I just wanted to see the place. I'm going to Auburn, I'm an Auburn man,'" Breland said. "That's what he told me." Breland said his feeling was further reinforced by Auburn assistant Tommy Thigpen's visit to Woodlawn on Wednesday. "They met for a while," Breland said of McKinzy and Thigpen. "There were some kids they talked about that are still leaning toward Auburn, and Cassanova said, 'I'll call them and do everything I can to help.' That's how he feels as far as going to Auburn. He's ready to help. "They talked about trying to get down there early and starting summer school, trying to enroll as early as possible. I'd say that's as solid as it gets."
But the visit didn't alter his longtime commitment to Auburn.
