Clemson has offered 2018 instate kicker BT Potter from Rock Hill, S.C. (South Pointe) on Wednesday according to his Twitter account. Potter is regarded as the top kicker in the Palmetto State for the 2018 cycle and currently in attendance at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
TigerNet spoke with him recently about his affection for possibly playing for Clemson. "Ever since I can remember, I’ve been a Clemson fan," Potter said. "Playing football at the collegiate level would be amazing, but playing for Clemson would make it even better." As a junior, the 5'11 South Pointe High kicker went 11 for 15 in field goal attempts with a long of 49 yards and averages 60 yards per kickoff. ChrisSailerKicking.com's player review:"BT is an extremely talented kicker. A great athlete with a huge leg and big time D1 potential. Field goals are smooth and accurate off the ground. Kickoffs are a major strength, near the very top of his class. He is also an outstanding punter. A competitor that does his best under pressure. He kicks with great confidence. I expect BT to dominate this spring and summer and pick up D1 offers. A fine young man with a great attitude and work ethic. His best is still ahead of him. Fantastic prospect." Blessed to say I just received my 3rd offer from Clemson University!! ?? pic.twitter.com/syHyDj8AdD Great day in Death Valley w my dudes?? #allin pic.twitter.com/RWvGc2KNL6 @SPHSstallions @btpotter10 kicking at the Clemson camp, he makes it look so easy, BIG TIME LEG pic.twitter.com/B4IX4iXHSX
