Clemson has offered elite 2018 defensive end Stephon Wynn Jr. from Anderson, S.C. (T.L. Hanna HS) on Saturday afternoon on his unofficial visit according to his Twitter account.
TigerNet spoke with Wynn shortly during his visit and he had the following to say about his offer from the Tigers. "Clemson offer was like a dream come true," Wynn Jr. said. "I have always loved Clemson growing up and know I have been given the opportunity to play there is truly a blessing. Them telling me that they want to offer me a scholarship was like music to my ears. A moment that I will never forget." Wynn Jr. has early offers from Clemson, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee. His first offer was from the Gamecocks on Monday. He has taken several Clemson visits including the 2014 Dabo Swinney Football camp, 2015 Clemson Spring game and he is currently on a junior day visit at Clemson with several of his high school teammates including 2019 quarterback Alex Meredith and 2019 defensive end Zacch Pickens. His father is former Clemson tight end Stephon Wynn Sr. that played in Death Valley from 1990-1994.
