Height: 6-5 Weight: 265 Hometown: Charlotte, NC (Mallard Creek HS) Class: 2012
D.J. Humphries is one of the top offensive line prospects in the Carolinas. He plays at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a junior, he was an AP All-State Performer this past year. He helped the Mavericks pass for 3,000 yards in 2010. According to the Raleigh News Observer: "Humphries doesn't have the weight of some of his contemporaries, but his quickness and strength are outstanding. Scholarship offers, including Oregon and Auburn, are rolling in, and he is beginning a list of a half-dozen or so schools. LSU, Florida and hometown favorite South Carolina (he grew up in Union, S.C.) are expected to be on Humphries' list." Clemson has already offered Humphries for next year's 2012 class.
