Greater Atlanta Christian four-star cornerback Kyler McMichael signed his NLI with Clemson on Wednesday morning.

McMichael chose Clemson over a final group Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and Tennessee back in June.

Brings to Clemson: McMichael was a standout two-way player at Greater Atlanta Christian and has the athleticism that Clemson can really build on. His defensive film shows solid reaction time and acceleration to the ball, with the strength to bring down opponents in the open field. Assistant coach Mike Reed said on Clemson's signing day show Wednesday that McMichaels is "very dynamic" and a "blur" on the football field.

Depth chart fit: With a couple seniors moving on at corner, McMichael will have his chance to compete for early playing time. He could also get a look at nickel to build some depth and make an instant impact.

Number to know: 11.6 - McMichael's yards per carry last season, where he also scored 24 touchdowns in 14 games.
