(Stone Mountain, Ga./Stephenson) immediately became one of the most coveted prospects available in the 2012 class. The former Florida commit received offers from Clemson, Georgia and Oklahoma within a few days, with other schools already vying to get the four-star tailback on campus. Before taking his second official visit to Florida State over the weekend, Davis made the trip up to Athens, Ga., with one question in mind for head coach Mark Richt. "I plan to ask Mark Richt if he is going to make it an open competition for the running backs," Davis told DawgNation." Davis rushed for 1,923 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior at Stephenson. Rushed for 1,200 yards rushing, 14 TDs, one on a kickoff return as a junior. Brother of former Tiger running back James Davis. The youngest of five siblings and ”the baby” in the Davis clan.
