(Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) has committed to play in-state for North Carolina, according to the Fayetteville Observer. Auburn, California, Clemson, North Carolina State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia also extended scholarship offers to the 5-foot-10, 180-pound ball-carrier. “He has committed to Chapel Hill,’’ Northern Guilford athletic director Brian Thomas said. “With all his options, you couldn’t have blamed him for going elsewhere out of state. But he chose to stay close to home so we can all go watch him play.’’
