Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said on Sunday during his media teleconference that redshirt junior defensive tackle Scott Pagano suffered a broken bone in his foot in the second quarter in the 43-42 loss to Pittsburgh in Death Valley on Saturday night.

"He doesn't have to have surgery," Swinney said. "It's the 4th metatarsal. It doesn't require surgery. He will be out for a little while. I'm not sure when he will be back. He would definitely back for the bowl game but I'm not sure he could be back for ACC Championship if we were to make that."

Austin Bryant had his injury on the 5th metatarsal earlier in the season.

Pagano has played 246 snaps (4 starts) for the Tigers this season with 27 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

In 2015, he had 51 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two quarterback pressures.
