Don’t ever count out the Clemson coaches, according to Fort Valley (GA) Peach County head coach Chad Campbell.

Jeff ScottJeff Scott Campbell said he wouldn’t go into specifics of what Clemson’s coaches were telling Robinson, but the message came across loud and clear. “They are selling the program, and they are selling what they do,” he said. “They are putting it all out on the table about what they do, and how they have looked after him and treated him and all of this stuff.” Campbell said the Florida coaches sold Robinson on the conference. “It’s Florida. It’s the SEC. They have been rich in tradition,” he said. “They play in the best conference in the country, and that is their selling point. They told him he can play in the best league in the country and make an impact right now in that conference.” Many people feel that Robinson can make the same type of impact that Sammy Watkins made at Clemson in 2011, and Campbell didn’t disagree. “I think he can do anything he wants to do,” he said. “He is a special player, and people have been telling him that he can be the next Sammy. He doesn’t need to be the next Sammy, he just needs to be Demarcus. Sammy is a special, special player, but Bud is, too.” Campbell said he didn’t know which way Robinson was leaning, and that time was getting short because Robinson is an early enrollee. “Right now, he is a flustered young man,” he said. “He has two great schools to choose from, and he doesn’t know what he wants to do. He is supposed to be in school before the end of the month. It is weighing on him, and he is torn between two places. He has a great relationship with the coaches at one school, and the other has the mystique of the SEC.”

at Peach County, and has seen his talented star commit to Clemson earlier in the summer only to flip to Florida this week. However, Clemson’s coaches paid a visit to Robinson Thursday night, and Campbell said that the Clemson staff still has a great shot to landed the 6-2, 200-pounder.

came in here, and they have done an excellent job,” Campbell told TigerNet Friday morning. “They are awesome; some of the best recruiters we have ever seen around here. Coach Scott is on top of his game right now. Bud [Demarcus] is 50-50 right now, and he is going to meet with me Sunday night, and we are going to sit down and talk to him and just go over everything.”
