Clemson starting quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was injured on a non-contact play midway through the second quarter of Saturday night's game against Louisville.

Uiagalelei appeared to come up gingerly after handing off the football on first down. He appeared to misstep finishing off the play.

Backup quarterback Taisun Phommachanh came in for DJ Uiagalelei and had a 26-yard scamper into Louisville territory on his first play of the contest.

Uiagalelei was seen walking off the field and going straight into the injury tent after the long run.

Update: DJU is still in the injury tent with five minutes to go until halftime.

Update 2: DJU has exited the injury tent and now has a brace on his right knee.

Update 3: DJU is out of the medical tent and doing some light running on the sidelines.

Update 4: DJU returns to the game with less than two minutes until halftime.

Update 5: Swinney said during his halftime interview that DJU sprained his PCL.
