Kansas State didn't really matter. Oregon really did. Now we're looking at two Pac-12 teams, and two Big-12 teams, and we're on the outside of that. Only real hope is for OU to lose to Ok St.

We can't help your team barely beat Wofford. We are referring to Clemson. Next week your goose will be cooked after we smoke it!

that's what I'm terrified about. Two PAC-10 teams, two BIG-12 teams, two SEC teams, and ND. Doesn't that knock us out? I'm no expert...

Yea of course...
Surprisingly, the fact that 6 of the 10 teams in front of us are SEC teams actually helps us since only 2 can go. We're technically in the 7th spot at the moment.

Actually there's one other scenario that is very possible. UCLA beats Stanford next week, Oregon beats Oregon State, and Oregon beats UCLA in the PAC-12 championship. That leaves Oregon State, Stanford, and UCLA all with 3 losses and out of contention.

Irish and Bama in the BCS Championship Oregon/Big 10 champ Rose KState/Stanford Fiesta Clemson/UGA Sugar FSU/Big East Orange
Oklahoma gets screwed b/c KState loses and Fiesta obviously won't have 2 big 12 teams. Sugar will take Clemson over Sooners.

if ND loses to USC, does that smoke us? Takes a non-conference auto-bid away....

in the Rose, or get left out entirely if they lose again. They won't be in the Fiesta. Maybe Stanford in Rose and Oregon in the Fiesta though.

It depends on what the Sugar Bowl prefers...

a 1-loss Clemson team or a 2-loss Oklahoma team. Of course, Oklahoma could still lose to OK State or TCU, and then we'd be in great shape with a win against South Carolina. All we can do is win though, and see what happens.

Also, UCLA could beat Stanford next week...

that would put Oregon back in the Pac-12 title game against UCLA, with the winner getting the Rose Bowl game. As it stands now, Oregon looks like it will get an at-large bid instead.

Too many obstacles to hurdle, now Stanford will jump us also. We will drop in BCS polls
