It appears that McCaul believed that, in a world with two crappy competitors, if one of the competitors got ‘banned,’ that the other one would thrive.
Kentucky Fried Chicken (Tik-Tok) gets forced out of the market; Bojangles (####) gets more business. As long as there are people addicted to junk food (lousy social media), then the survivor’s business improves.

Trump’s need to raise campaign money for the upcoming election (which is a serious problem for the non-Uniparty Republican faction) must be addressed. However, the campaign cash that Trump hopes to raise has zilch to do with grow g his personal wealth. Rather, it does the opposite.
Trump’s wealth building opportunities are via marketplace success of Truth Social, which in an indirect way is a ~ competitor to Truth Social.
As for running Tik-Tom out of America, that would be chilling for free speech.
#### / Facebook has already been proven to collude with theOBiden Handlers Admin (OBHA) to inhibit free speech (by censoring messages / videos that are unfriendly to OBHA as ‘disinformation’ / ‘misinformation’ / ‘malinformation’j. This govt coordinated inhibiting of free speech is profoundly dangerous to the First Amendment.
If Trump can raise money for the Republican campaign, keep Tik-Tok active while scrubbing away the Chinese spying aspects, and foster competition to the anti-first amendment ####, then Trump’s mental agility to incorporate new information in order to revise his previous views into more useful views, then this is a great example of effective leadership.
