We out shot and outplayed them but could not score.

We lacked ideas when we got close to goal. Probably will improve that as the season goes on

They used to play two 10 minute overtimes but they got rid of it for the regular season

Hate draws but first game of the season being against a 12th ranked team in South Carolina is a pretty good decision.Hate it last season when the NCAA started that no more overtimes in the regular season for men and women.The 25th ranked Tigers out played South Carolina for the most part and would have had the momentum going into overtime.

Agree with Horry, not bad for #12. But really, 11 corner kicks, 13 shots but only 3 shots on goal supports your game wrap-up. 1st game for both teams. Darn I wanted to win.

and the Lady Tigers should be a little disappointed with the outcome. Clemson was absolutely the better team controlling the ball for the vast majority of the game. Plenty of scoring opportunities but they just couldn't put one in the back of the net.

We got into the better attacking spaces but seemed to just go through the motions when we got close to goal. No real aggression or attack mindset to actually try to score except for maybe 1 or 2 times.

Too many tame crosses

Nice effort tonight by the Clemson women's soccer team. But, dang, I wanted them to beat those kok soccers!

I was there and the crowd was wonderful. We definitely outplayed them, but just missed on several goals. One near the end hit the goal post, but bounced out. Gamecock goalie was very good. A recruit and her dad from Texas sat next to us and they were very impressed! They could not believe the turnout. She has 40 offers and has narrowed it down to 5, one of which is Clemson. That game should have sealed the deal!
