But I never understood how people could let tickets like that go unused! I'd sell it or at least give it away to a Clemson fan at the last minute if I knew I couldn't go in.

Especially considering those tickets were going for $150 *each* just before gametime. That was the toughest ticket I ever bought off the street. I started getting season tickets the next year because of that game.

weeks before the 100th meet-up game to a Clemson fan. I think a year or two later the University started requiring student IDs to use those tickets.

Anywho, I had a way of getting into the game for free so I still made it in. Oh the stunts you pulled as a kid...I hope the University changed their procedures to disallow a-holes like me getting in! But don't worry, I wouldn't do that nowadays.
