in Clemson football history. As in, What If he never got speared by that dirty hit against Auburn. He was never the same QB after that hit. It was a wonder his spine wasn't broken in half.

Newton led Auburn to Natty championship. Until that injury Parker was outplaying Cam. The fact that it was a serious ribs broken was never revealed until end of season. Tiger fans owe Kyle a big apology, as they got after him when he sat on sideline with his baseball cap. The injury probably hurt his brilliant baseball playing also.

Or better yet... what if doesn't get drafted in the 1st round of The MLB draft... (and thinking about his signing bonus ??????)

One thing I will remember about KP was the

infamous Duke baseball game involving "The Tarp".
Score was tied after 10 innings. KP came to bat and hit, I think, a 2-run homer to put Clemson ahead in the top of the 11th. In the middle of the 11th, the game was put on pause due to lightning and rain. The Duke field crew had 'left for the day' and the tarp was not put on the field. And, the game could not be finished due to 'field conditions and time constraints'. So, the game defaulted back to the score at the end of the 10th - a tie. We could have been screwed in the ACCT seeding by that tie as we were in trouble of losing a spot to Duke. But, in the end, Duke lost a few more games and did not make it to the ACCT.
