2010 Nightmare

My fear is this could be 2010 again if we do not right the ship. 2010 we go down and play a great game against the eventual national champion Auburn. Should have won the game. After the ending to that game you could see the air taken out of us. You may not a agree but that team had a VERY GOOD defense however our offense was so terrible that the defense was on the field all the time. Even the games we won were a struggle. We finished 6-7 with an embarassing loss in our bowl game. With a lot of people on the inside praising our team about what a great year we could have and then seeing the Georgia game unravel in a matter of minutes I really hope our team is focused and does not let that game plus a possible 1-2 start ruin a season. Hate to let the defensive talent we got this year go to waste. Go Tigers!

We have more talent, not enough mind you, than what we had in 2010. Plus, our quarterback(s) minds are not elsewhere.

I think this is a way better team than in 2010 and on talent alone the worst this team will do is finish 9-3 with a possible bowl win... I mean UGA is a VERY good football team this year, Pruitt is the difference and they have THE best running game in the country by far. We just caught the wrong end of the stick with playing them at their place then FSU two weeks later... there is no one else on the schedule that we should lose to, and I even think we go down and give FSU a H3LL of a game.

Who the heck was supposed to catch the ball for that bunch? Plus, Kyle Parker was a loose cannon back there. Probably the only place you could argue that the 2010 offense was better is at RB, and I don't think anybody had over 700 yards that year.

Very good points. Kyle parker was good.....until he got banged up a little and we lost to Auburn then he checked out. Think about what a different season that would have been however if we had beaten Auburn. Our offense is a major upgrade and I am not saying that we are going to be as bad as that team (if so everyone should be fired with the talent we have now) all I am saying is I would hate to see a similar collapse....Good defense, offense struggles because we dont have an identity, questionable playing calling game in and game out

We are one game into the season.

Let's not panic until we have a larger sample size.

We had a much worse game last season (FSU) AND it was at home, AND we still won the Orange Bowl.
