2020 - Today
DJ 29/44 for 439 yards - 9/12 for 41 yards

Look I know DJ isn't looking great but how good can you look when 90% of your passes are behind the LOS and go for nothing? Our receivers were better in 2020 but we let DJ throw bombs all game and we weren't scared of taking risk. We lost but it certainly wasn't DJ's fault. ND sold out against the run and held Clemson to 1ypc and ETN to 1.6ypc. It's hard to establish a run or be productive in the screen game when we have ZERO deep game.

How can our play calling be scared and our QB not also play scared?

THROW THE BALL and if DJ isn't cutting it try Cade. Stop accelerating the game with screens and runs while we are down 14-0.
