The number of games this season that have really revealed BB’s coaching problems. His inability to finish and manage the end of games is startling. I can promise you that I’m no Tarheel or Duke fan but Dean Smith and Coach K were masters of finishing games. Here are the 3 games this year.
UNC- just to give up on your guys the last minute of play with no strategy to even call a timeout and pull your guys together to battle to the end. Brownell totally gave up on his guys. That’s pathetic. Play to the end!
Louisville- blow a 25 point lead down to 4 and no clock/play management the last 2 minutes. Throwing a temper tamper on the sideline only exposes your inability to control the game. Ranting, raving, throwing your arms up in the air and blaming players is an excuse for your inability to finish a game.
UVA- again, go to the last 10 seconds. Don’t call a timeout to get your guys in position to make a play and get the ball inside to make score and/or draw foul? No plan for Hunter to drive to the basket which forces Clark to take a 3?


For years, it was the facilities. Millions have been spent on Littlejohn and practice facilities.
Years, we can’t attract good players because of the facilities. This year has the most balanced team Clemson has had in many, many years. Really good talent and experience. PJ Hall gave up a yr in the NBA to come back this year. I feel sad for the young man.
The excuse of the lack of fan support. None of these excuses work anymore!

Spot on except the comment about Hall and the NBA . He’s a pretty good college basketball player , but I’d be totally surprised if his game transcends to an NBA career. Maybe Europe but not the NBA unfortunately.
