How many games were"won" with 3 point shooting vs "lost" with 3 point shooting. Looking at our loses this season, I often wonder the outcome of our games if we abandoned 3 point shots. ND game - When you are shooting ~40% from the field and only 18% from 3pt, you would maximize your total points by only shooting 2 pointers. I'm recall seeing some other loses earlier in the season where our 3pt shooting was dismal vs FG%.

so to shoot 28 threes (10 of which were shot by the friggin' Center) and only converting 5, is inexcusable. Logic dictates that you go to the post to exploit the mismatch. Feed the post to open up the jumpers and not the other way around. Welcome to Brownell Ball.

THIS is the point. I'm ok that we shoot them, but there was no reason to in this game given the matchup. AND certainly PJ should have been collapsing the defense down on him and kicking out to say Girard or Chase to shoot the 3s... That is coaching unless the players are just ignoring him (which is also coaching).

We have one consistent quality 3 pt shooter, unless you count Ian. Joe has trouble getting his shot off as we all know. Also, we need Ian down low rebounding.

If the center stayed down low it would open up the 3 line for the guards...
