I'm not putting this game all on Cade because he played a pretty good game all things considered and there's no guarantee that we score a TD in overtime but you simply can't check out of run on 3rd and 1 when Shipley is starting to cut through their D-line like a warm knife through butter. You line up and take two downs to get one yard. Cade overthought that single play and left us with an impossible situation on 4th down. Also, you have to be able to make 30 yard kicks straight down the middle.
