Some of you Lunatic Fringers need to let the season play out before you call for anybody to be fired. I am sure the calls for firing will come after the first loss. But that’s because there element of the Clemson fan base that does not understand basketball. No team has gone undefeated since 1976. If you want to stay negative, that’s on you. But I believe this is a good basketball team with a solid coaching staff. It is going to be a fun year.

Seriously, I am over the moon that YOU think this is a good team. Could not be happier.

You may even be right.

But please, one point of clarification, if you will. Please count me as one of those people who believed prior to this year even starting that Clemson Basketball would be better off with a new Head Coach. I have thought that for several, several years now, have seen nothing previous that changed that opinion, and your measly 4-0 has absolutely no impact on that.

There is no one team, or one season, or one NCAA bid that will change that. Heck, not even two or three. That’s because this opinion is informed by 13 seasons of mediocrity recorded into posterity.

No amount of exasperation or shouting or name calling by you or any of the Bros will change that. Unfortunately for you, I get an opinion too.

Now breathe for a minute; just take a breath…
