Who do we have realistic shot at landing and how many do we

take in this class? I've been reading 25 which leaves us with 7 spots left... I assume we'd oversign for someone like Settle.
Seems like we have good shots at:
- Huggins, DT - Settle, DT - Campbell, WR - DeBerry, LB - Bailey, OL - Burrell, OL - McCloud, WR
Outside shots:
-Tuttle, DT - Thompson, DT - Jones, DT
Anyone else?
Normally I'd be embarrassed about caring so much about what teenage boys are doing but it's a LONG offseason!! Obviously it's a great problem to have and it's a long way til NSD but this recruiting class is shaping up to be an all-timer!!

I really hope I'm wrong but I think Bailey is a coot. I hate for him if true because he will waste 4 years.

I think he was a heavy lean before he went to the camp

this past week but I get the impression we've at least given him something to think about.
But yeah, I expect him to go to USuCk.

That was already planned before he camped at Clemson. It was not a surprise, TI reported it. If that is why coots think he's a lock then they are mistaken. I think he's a coot lean but taking his grand parents to the Cockrocach is not a sign.

Burrell is very impressed and is at least as good as Bailey

if not having greater potential. I get the impression coaches see Burrell that way, too, and are putting more effort in landing him. They would take Bailey in a heart beat. But Burrell has Clemson higher and seemed to do a lot to impress during camp.

5-6 more takes
Jun 17, 2014, 10:18 AM
|
|
1) Huggins 2) Bryant 3) Settle 4) McCloud 5) Burrell or Bailey 6) Dawkins Jr.
We lead for 1-4 and 6 straight up. Much better chance will Burrell than Bailey. In fact, from what I've been told it wouldn't surprise me if Bailey committed to the coots very soon.

I thought Campbell was thought to be a UF lean...

All those guys would be nice, but I'd say Campbell and Bailey go elsewhere...
I think we have the best shot with McCloud and Burrell...

There was a shakeup with his recruiter/position coach at FLA.

The appeal of staying close to home may still be hard to

overcome...
If we manage to attract him, we'll have some great size for DW to throw to...Mike Williams (6'5"), George Campbell (6'5"), Jordan Leggett (6'6"), Charone Peake (6'3"), Trevion Thompson (6'3")...

Campbell may be overhyped as much as McCloud is

underhyped by the "experts." Seems to me coaches are very impressed with McCloud overall from this weekend. He may have more skills it total - a pure athlete of sorts. What attracts people to Campbell seems to be his hands more than anything.
Either would be a good get. McCloud seems much more likely. Somewhere I read that his parents really liked Clemson after this weekend. That may help.

I live in Tampa and my daughter just graduated from sickles HS. Word is that RayRay is telling friends he will be going to USF so he can stay local. Shame, but whatever works for him.
