Several people who know of our situation have reached out and we appreciate it. For those that don't know, Nikki's grandfather, Tom Bailey, has had a very quiet battle with cancer since the middle of last summer. Some of you probably know him - he started and owns Mr. Mattress here in the area, is big in motorcycle groups, and was the President of Palmetto Pride for over a decade. He passed away in the early hours Monday morning. Here is the obit for those that might have known this incredible man.

If it’s about the loss of a an individual or a Tiger family member especially a member of David and Nikki Hood’s family there are no wrong boards. Maybe you should delete your post and think about your next before you submit it.

He was a really great person. I loved his TV commercials to.
Praying for Mr. Bailey’s family,you,Nikki as well as all of your family’s. We appreciate the many contributions by Mr. Bailey, Nikki and to you David along with your both familles for all of the good he passed along to others, the surrounding communities and especially for his contributions the Clemson family during his lifetime.

I am always envious of those who had a relationship with their grandparents. Three of the four of mine were gone before I was even old enough to remember anything, and the last one, my mother's mother, died when I was only nine.
As time goes on, you and Nikki will be left with a lot of fond memories of Mr. Bailey, I am sure. May the Lord be with you in this time of grief now.
